As the Senior Director of Logistics for our Twin Cities offices, Tony and his team are working to expand Halvor Logistics services to the Minneapolis-St. Paul metro area and beyond. They are doing it by focusing on a wide range of customer needs, from full truckload orders to ltl/partial truckload services. “I love the fast nature of transportation,” says Tony. “Every day you are faced with new challenges and no days are ever the same.” When he isn’t working, Tony keeps busy with his two young children. He also likes to golf, grill, listen to heavy metal and follow Minnesota sports teams.

Customer Service and Sales Representative
Derek has been servicing Halvor Logistics customers for three years in his role as customer service and sales representative. “My favorite part of the job is working with repeat carriers and building relationships,” he says. Outside of work hours, Derek enjoys performing and playing music, with a particular fondness for the mandolin.

Compliance and Product Manager
It’s Dave’s job to make sure Halvor Logistics maintains high standards in safety and compliance. He does this by reviewing and selecting the best carrier partners available to move freight across the United States and Canada. In addition to maintaining our carrier database and other logistics software, he also manages a number of customer accounts. “I enjoy having a very diverse set of responsibilities, which gives me a ‘Swiss Army Knife’ set of skills,” says Dave. “I get to solve a wide variety of problems for my customers and team members.” When he isn’t “slinging freight,” Dave can be found on long runs, playing bass guitar, reading or watching the Minnesota Twins.

Senior Logistics Coordinator
Austin oversees one of Halvor Logistics’ largest accounts, with a focus on providing outstanding customer care and fostering a strong relationship with the client and with carriers servicing them. He helps his client move freight efficiently and is the liaison between shippers and the customer if issues arise. After six years in logistics he says “problem solving and building rapport with my customers are definitely the favorite part of my job. Outside of work, Austin spends time with his wife, infant daughter and Golden Retriever. He also loves Alpine skiing, weekly pickleball, hiking and biking the Pacific Northwest, and exploring new cuisines.

Carrier Sales Representative
With 13 years of sales experience, Angel knows that freight transport is a vital part of any company’s total transportation logistics infrastructure. He forms strong relationships with carrier partners and is always actively recruiting new carriers to expand Halvor Logistics’ ability to serve customers wherever their freight needs to go. “There are many things I love about this business, but if I had to pick one, it’s the feeling I get when I can pair a load that needs to be covered ASAP with a driver I know will make the delivery on time. It feels good to save the day and get the job done,” says Angel. Outside of work, Angel’s greatest joy is helping his daughter with her homework, taking her to the movies and shopping and simply spending time with her.

Sara J.
Track and Trace Coordinator
Sara is a master when it comes to tracking and tracing loads carried by our Halvor Logistics carrier partners. She also keeps a close eye on paperwork, making sure both customers and carriers have all the documentation and information they need. “The favorite part of my job is connecting with carriers and solving any issues they have during a run,” says Sara, who has six years of experience in truckload logistics. When she isn’t working, Sara spends her time reading and playing with her three dogs.

Logistics Coordinator
Luke specializes in coordinating flatbed loads and oversize/heavy haul loads, also known as project cargo. He’s been with us two years, and in that time our service to companies requiring these services has grown substantially thanks to his work. “I love building relationships with our customers, problem-solving challenges and the satisfaction of ensuring smooth operations and timely deliveries,” he says. Outside of work, Luke enjoys snowmobiling, cooking, spending time with friends, being on the pontoon, yard work and fishing.

National Sales Representative
Hunter Hanlon is a National Sales Representative with over 7 years of industry experience. He excels at building strong relationships with customers and carriers, identifying unique solutions to complex shipping challenges, and delivering exceptional service. Hunter thrives on the fast-paced nature of the logistics industry, where quick thinking and attention to detail are essential to ensuring successful deliveries.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Hunter enjoys the outdoors, spending time golfing, hunting, and riding his motorcycle. He also finds satisfaction in home improvement projects, from building decks to landscaping. When his is not working on his house Hunter enjoys grill meats and healthy home cooked meals.

Ethan’s primary role at Halvor Logistics is to manage reefer overflow from our asset accounts, while also bidding on full van, reefer, flatbed, and hotshot loads. With one year of experience, Ethan exceeds in his role due facing challenges head on, while working with drivers and efficiently managing time and resources. Outside of work, he shows passion for running, weightlifting, and getting outdoors to enjoy all nature has to offer.

Ellie is a Logistics Coordinator at Halvor. She graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2025 with a degree in strategic communication and began her career in the transportation and logistics industry. Ellie plays a key role in supporting transportation operations by working closely with carriers, tracking shipments from pickup through delivery, and maintaining clear communication with customers to provide a positive service experience. Outside of work, Ellie enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and trying new restaurants. Her favorite things about working in logistics are quick problem-solving and building relationships with customers and carriers.

Kailee is a Logistics Coordinator and Account Manager at Halvor. Kailee began her career in automotive administration before transitioning into the transportation and logistics industry. Her main responsibilities include coordinating with carriers to ensure on-time service, monitoring shipments, and providing proactive communication with customers; supporting day-to-day operations to ensure efficient freight movement; and submitting competitive bids to secure freight opportunities for our customers. Outside of work, Kailee enjoys reading, traveling, and planning her upcoming wedding! Her favorite things about working in logistics are the challenge of solving problems, finding transportation solutions, and building strong relationships with our customers through proactive and effective communication.

Logistics Coordinator
Brandon is a Logistics Coordinator at Halvor. He recently graduated from the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire with a bachelor’s degree in marketing and sales. Brandon’s day-to-day responsibilities include finding and booking loads, negotiating rates, coordinating transportation activities such as pickups, deliveries, shipment tracking, and schedule changes, providing customer service through email and phone inquiries, navigating our transportation management system (McLeod), and utilizing DAT. Brandon’s favorite hobbies include fishing, spending time with family and friends, and traveling. His favorite things about working in logistics are the fast-paced environment that requires quick problem-solving, the sense of accomplishment that comes from moving loads successfully and building relationships with clients.
